Lamborghini Huracan Official Video

Lamborghini-Huracan_LP610-4_2015 FrontA typical apocalyptic commercial for the official launch of the Huracan. You might think that Lamborghini has dropped the tradition of naming its car models after reputed bulls but you would be wrong. According to Lamborghini, Huracán was a bull that fought in Alicante in 1879. With its triple meaning of storm, Mayan god, and raging bull, this might be the coolest car name ever.

Lamborghini-Huracan_LP610-4_2015 InteriorConsidered the entry-level Lamborghini, what the California is to Ferrari, it is the replacement of the company’s best-selling model ever, the Gallardo. A worth successor? Powered by a 5.2-liter direct-injected V10 delivering 610 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque that bull would fly the 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds (0.2 faster than the 458). The chassis, the result of the combined work of Audi and Lambo weighs 10 per cent less than the Gallardo, but is 50 per cent stiffer thanks to the use of carbon fiber and aluminum. Transmitting the immense power to the new freshly engineered all wheel drive system is a 7 speed dual clutch gear box. A clever feature allows you to hold the left hand paddle as you’re braking hard, entering a corner, automatically the lowest gear possible will be selected in order to provide you with maximum acceleration out of it. All those elements can react differently to the click of a button, the ANIMA (translates as ‘soul’ in Italian) on the bottom of the steering wheel which is much like Ferrari’s Manettino dial.

Lamborghini-Huracan_LP610-4_2015 BackBeing a mix of Aventador and Gallardo, that beast look angry! And it sounds very angry too, judging by that apocalyptic launching ad which reminds me of the Aventador launching commercial released a couple of years ago. The world is coming to an end, the earth’s 5 elements are going crazy and your Lambo is your only key of survival! So, a worth successor? I would say definitely yes even though I think a couple of more ponies could have fitted under the hood. When Ferrari is extracting 570hp out of its V8, 610hp is a bit short for a V10. Yep I would still get a 458 over that massive bull. Oh oh and I forgot to mention, there is a Huracan coming to Lebanon in a couple of month and I met its owner 😉 So stay tuned to TheAdsGarage instagram account to have a first glimpse at it!

Ken Block Gymkhana 6: The Ultimate Gymkhana Grid Course

Ken Block Gymkhana 6TheAdsGarage is back right on time to share with you car freaks, the brand new Ken Block Gymkhana 6 video. With his modified AWD Fiesta ST sports 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, good for a claimed 0-60 mph in 1.8 seconds, Kenny is ready to burn some rubber. This time, the goal was to design the Ultimate Gymkhana Grid Course. In addition to the usual tight turns, the course features new obstacles including a wrecking ball, a pair of moving Lamborghini Aventadors, and more. The result is not as impressive as the last gymkhana in San Francisco and what the hell are those plastic thingies on his front wheels? Gymkhana Six incorporates elements from Need for Speed Rivals such as video-game themed Redview County cops on Segways. Block is indeed the new Racing Advisor for the Need for Speed franchise. Will this mean that Rivals will feature a Gymkhana course or Ken’s Fiesta? We’ll have to wait until November the 22nd for the official release of the game! For now, enjoy the show! Ferrari FF Joins The Dubai Police Patrol Cars

lamborghini-aventador-lp-700-4-police-car--image-dubai-policeThe Italian police have always been famous for owning the fastest patrol cars in the world, two Gallardo LP560-4, to chase the most outlaw street racers. A couple of weeks ago they were dethroned by the Dubai police department announcing the arrival of an LP 700-4 Aventador patrol car. The tweet by Dubai Police HQ stated “Latest #Dubai_Police patrols, now at your service,” with it was attached the pic of the Aventador equipped with a police siren. The pic was taken in front of the Dubai Mall, the world’s biggest shopping center. Well the “at your service” part of the tweet is not exactly true, this 700hp supercar’s function is just to cruise in tourist areas to impress foreign travelers and give a “classy” and “wealthy” image of Dubai. For car chases, the Dubai Police has at its disposal a couple of brand new Chevy Camaro, an american muscle car that is powerful enough and not that expensive to repair.

72331887Like all that was mentioned above wasn’t impressive enough, the Dubai Police Station just announced the arrival of a new supercar to the patrol team, a 6.3-liter V12, 651hp Ferrari FF. I suspect that the Ferrari, like the Aventador, won’t be used to chase wealthy Dubai citizen that decided to have some fun with their supercars. Instead the FF will be used to cruise around crowded and tourist areas to impress the foreigners. At a time when the biggest part of the world is going through a financial crises, Dubai strikes once again with another impressive spending, adding another achievement to their “Most Impressive in the World” collection.

Lamborghini Commercial: Santa Clause Aventador

Lambo christmasPresenting the car that is replacing the Countach in every child’s room, the famous new breed of bulls by Lamborghini, the Aventador. This new jet car is powered by a 6.5 liters V12 engine delivering 700hp and 690 Nm of torque. To put this power down on the road the Aventador is equipped with Lamborghini all wheel drive system: The Haldex generation IV which is an electronic AWD system that allows the car to send different amount of torque to each wheel for a better traction. This commercial is very similar to the print ad by Porsche of their new Carrera 4s stating: “In case you’re wondering how Santa Claus delivers presents around the world in one night…it has to do with the power of all-wheel drive.” The idea of the commercial is simple and the execution is basic, just a nice and quick way for Lamborghini to wish all of you guys a Merry Chirstmas!

World’s Greatest Drag Race 2!

Drag race 2This year, Motortrend is back with a new World’s Greatest Drag Race. Following the request of the fans, this race includes 9 new contestants. Even last years winner the Nissan GTR has a couple of more horses now. You would probably be wondering why the BRZ was invited to the event. Actually for a drag race there is not much that the BRZ can do with it’s 200hp. I am sure that if it was a circuit race the BRZ would have had some impressive results compared to its contestants thanks to its very low center of gravity that allows a lot of stability in the corners.

Best Driver’s Car 2012

For this year, Motortrend is back to pick the Best Driver’s Car 2012. Watch Carlos Lago, Jonny Lieberman and famed race car driver Randy Pobst as they test nine of the most exotic, high-performance vehicles in the world. The tests start first with a road test in Central California’s Highway 198 then move to the track where Randy takes these nine amazing cars for a spin around the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The amount of work and gas spent in order to produce this video is just enormous. The end result is a perfect evaluation of these nine contestants. Prepare a bowl of pop corn, a comfortable couch and Enjoy!!

Lamborghini Commercial: Aventador LP 700-4

Video

Lamborghini presents its new Aventador LP 700-4. The commercial is spectacular showing an “end of the world” scenario featuring their new born, 700 HP, 350 KM/H and 0-100 KM/H IN 2.9sec road Aircraft as the savior.
